Since 1991, the passion of the Roncadin family quickly became a success, bringing the unique taste of real Italian pizza to homes all over the world.

EDOARDO RONCADIN

Thanks to the experience he gained an assistant pizzaiolo,
Edoardo Roncadin decided to open his own pizzeria in 1968 as
pizza was growing in popularity outside of Italy in the 60’s. Pizzeria Vesuvio was opened serving authentic Italian pizza with lots of automatic sauce and a hot savory crust. Edoardo Roncadin and his family had an idea to innovate the Pizza industry in the 90’s and decided to transforms Pizzeria Vesuvio into an innovative plant equipped with modern technologies with the capabilities to produce high quality frozen pizza on a large scale. In 4 short years production hits to 30 million pizzas and by 2012 production was up to 50 million fresh-frozen pizzas and export capabilities worldwide.

An Italian Classic Goes Worldwide

In 2010, the company embarked on a mission to reduce their carbon footprint and use GREEN ENERGY with the installation of 5,416 solar panels to produce most of the energy needs and reduce large quantities of harmful emissions into the environment. Roncadin, received the Cologne Trade Fair award for "Italian Annual Awards 2011: Best Product Innovation - Pizza and the is awarded with the “Coop for Kyoto” ranking first in the “100% sustainable Energy” category. By 2015, Roncadin is making 350,000 pizzas a day and launches a Gluten Free range of products coming soon to your dinner table.
